Elton started with pigeons back in his home country in Albania in Southern Europe. His father and uncle had pigeons in the attic growing up and then his uncle had a pair, a red cock and a white hen. Upon returning to Albania to start 1st grade after living in Sweden for 3 years he was given 2 white babies from his uncle and had regular pigeon throughout elementary and high school.

He moved to the US in 1992 to attend college and one day in 1997 while going to university found a baby on the street that had a broken wing and was blind in one eye. He took it home and the LOVE for pigeons re-emerged.

In 2002 white reading racing pigeon articles on Ad Schaerlaeckens website, he got motivated and challenged enough to race. Bought his first 3 pairs at CBS and then imported 4 birds from Ad via Bert Oostlander of GPS. In 2003 he imported the first 10 pigeons from Gust Jansen the breeder of Olympiade 003, advised from Ad. In 2005 he won 1st Champion Bird at Americas King Cup that Merl Emerson had in Florida. And the rest is history…among his best wins are 2nd Champion Bird – World Ace Challenge 2009, 1st Champion Bird – World Ace Challenge 2011, 2nd Champion Bird – Blue Bucket Stampede 2016, 1st and 3rd Champion Bird – Texas Shootout 2018, 3rd Champion Bird – Big Andy’s 2018 and many other Top 10 results in individual races.
