We aim to establish an event where winning it will become the most prestigious and sought-after title in the sport, where the best Fancier and Pigeon will be acknowledged in their own respective right.
Set in the South African Bushveld in the Waterberg region of Limpopo lies a spectacular piece of Africa called Phala Phala Wildlife. Some of its most iconic game species are being bred, such as Cape Buffalo, Greater Kudu and Sable antelope.

The AfrikaPro team decided that all overseas fanciers can ship 20 pigeons and the South African participants may send 17 for the AfrikaPro 2023 racing season.
The entry fee will remain at US$15,000.00 per team.
After the homing and training phases, all fanciers must select their team of 13 pigeons with activation.
Three of the 13 pigeons will serve as reserve pigeons while 10 pigeons will be activated and represent each team over the 10 week series.
Kindly note that the 13 chosen pigeons per team will automatically qualify for all five competitions, namely;
- Fancier Competition (US$ 1 134,750.00)
- Ace Pigeon Competition (US$ 367,500.00),
- Final Race (US$ 474,000.00),
- Weekly fancier Competition (US$ 27,000.00),
- Country Cup.
In the case of fanciers having more than 13 pigeons after the Activation Race, the extra pigeons will now be allowed to compete in the Final Race, Ace Pigeon, and Country Cup at an additional fee of US$750.00 per pigeon. Non-activated pigeons will be used as tracker pigeons in the AfrikaPro loft.
No fanciers will be allowed to have more pigeons than the given total of 20 per overseas fancier and 17 per South African in the AfrikaPro loft. All participants may replace their lost / deceased pigeons as long as the intake period is open.
No pigeons that have previously competed in other races will be allowed to enter.
