Gray Fox and Harms Loft raises racing homers in Butler, Illinois, a small farming community in the western part of the state roughly an hour east of St. Louis. The loft is a collaboration between Chad Compton of Grayfox Loft and Doug Harms of Harms Loft, two fanciers who have pooled their race results and breeding stock over many years together.

Their competitive record in American University racing is extensive, including AU Registered Elite Champions, multiple First Place Master Loft and Champion Loft titles, and more than 135 individual race wins.

Among their documented performances are eleven daybird finishes on 600-mile races and twenty-two on 500-mile races, along with hundreds of AU diploma placements acr both short and long distance events and Car Races in South Africa!

The breeding program draws on Peter Van Osch Janssen lines, a family of racing homers built around the "DE 43" bloodline. The loft selects hard and culls critically, prioritizing birds that carry proven genetics across multiple generations.
