Dear fanciers,  

Since the founding of the ZG HELIOS Breeding Association is more than 25 years ago, its members Dietmar Schulz in East Germany, Bruno Bucher in Switzerland, Yu Tao in China, Dr. Matthias Warzecha, Werner Hübner and Olaf Gehrken in Northern Germany have the general breeding goal:

Breeding of a high-performing, hereditary pigeon family with an emphasis on mold breeding.

With the focus on participation in One Loft Races, which have been taking place for many years, fast and resilient pigeons are bred which are already able to deal positively and successfully as youngsters with changing climate and other conditions.

Twelve pigeons from ZG Helios are offered in this auction, representing the most successful and genetically strongest families. Following this introductory text is a list of the current successes 2024+25 of the siblings and other pigeons from the families of the pigeons offered here; this is not a complete list of all ZG Helios successes 2024+25!  Offspring of the best children and grandchildren of the foundation cock "Braveheart 1340" are offered, including siblings of successful one-loft race participants and successful breeding pigeons. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the "Braveheart 1340" have won:

Ace-Pigeon one loft race (Sofia, As Golden Race GR, Europa Masters, Giewont, Yupi, 2x Moledo) For more than two decades, the foundation lines of the internationally renowned Gerard Koopman have also played a significant role. The offspring of the 2003 "Son of Noble Blue" can be found in many successful pedigrees today. In this auction, offspring of a son of "JERSON" with a half-sister of the "Pattaya Final Winners 2024" (530 km, 6,101 pigeons) or of a grandson of National Winner "Pogacar" x half-sister of the "Pattaya Final Winners 2024" are offered. A 50% Koopman pigeon is one of the most successful one-loft race breeders in Europe, "MESSI," bred by Zdenek Pavlik from Czechoslovakia. "Kain," one of "MESSI's" best sons, is breeding for ZG Helios.

One of the most successful daughters of "Goed Grijs" (Leidemann Brothers) is "EVA," (Eijerkamp). Since 2024, a daughter of "EVA" has been breeding for ZG Helios, and in 2025, a grandson of her won 30th place in the Algarve Golden Race Final (505 km, 3,344 pigeons). With "Romario 2," ZG Helios also acquired a direct son of "Romario," a superb breeder. A grandson of this bird is offered in this auction, a direct sister became 5th National Ace Pigeon in Poland. A son of the famous "Romario"-Family from Simon Wolf: "199" is the sire of the 3rd Ace Pigeon Marismas 2024; a sibling of this Ace Pigeon is offered in this auction.

From another top breeder from Simon Wolf, "Thomas 1" (sire 1st Ace Pigeon Algarve Golden Race 2024), a daughter is successfully breeding with ZG Helios; she is  the dam of the 1st Ace Pigeon As Golden 2025.
